I ordered this olivewood salt cellar online from Williams-Sonoma as a gift for my wife. I thought it would be an aesthetically pleasing kitchen accessory to enjoy for many years.
Now, my wife is not blessed with great eyesight and has glasses that would make Iris Apfel jealous. Many gloves have been rescued from the road mistaken for injured squirrels. EVEN she noticed the massive cracks in the Williams-Sonoma salt cellar filled with porous wood putty.
Do not buy the Williams-Sonoma olivewood putty salt cellar.
