April reads

1. Lonely castle in the mirror by mizuki tsujimura. A Japanese the lion, the witch and the wardrobe translated into British English.

2. Milk fed by Melissa broder. Bisexual Jewish calorie counter explores food, religion, and relationships. Very descriptive writing.

3. The favorites by layne Fargo. Wait, I’m reading a book about ice dancing?

4. Daughters of Nantucket by Julie gerstenblatt. Ever wonder what was going on in Nantucket while ahab was looking for moby dick?

5. The book that broke the world by mark lawrence. Sequel to the book that wouldn’t burn. Audiobook, my least favorite way to read. An infinite library that spans worlds and times.. After a huge reveal in the first book, is there anything left to explore in the second?

6.  The wayward pines trilogy by Blake crouch. Best books read this month! Secret service agent finds himself in a very weird small town.

7.  Great big beautiful life by Emily Henry. Reading a great big beautiful large print edition. Sometimes you just need a light (well this large print is heavy!) book without too much violence and other life traumas. So far doesn’t seem as good as her other books.
